North by Northwest is classic Hitchcock and one film I’ve seen many times over the years and it’s as an exhilarating espionage thriller as they come with great performances from Cary Grant and Eva Marie Saint.
The Alfred Hitchcock Classics Collection is a nice selection of four Alfred Hitchcock films to get the 4K treatment, which is pretty good for what I’m Universal had the rights to.
Suspicion isn’t one of Hitchcock’s better known movies, coming before the likes of Strangers on a Train, Rear Window and Psycho, but it’s a well made, if not uneven, little thriller featuring solid performances from Cary Grant, Joan Fontaine and Cedric Hardwicke.
