Camino is an alright little survival thriller that’s not terribly memorable but serviceably entertaining at times and Zoe Bell at least made for a capable lead though the stunt work she’s known for wasn’t anything spectacular.

Spare Parts has an interesting premise but never quite works with skin-level character development and a thin plot and even thinner antagonists.
Super 8 is yet another well made film by J.J. Abrams, a solid follow-up to the sci-fi reboot/re-imagining of Star Trek. The movie is certainly a nostalgic trip back to the 80s but Abrams puts his own stamp on it, albeit still with plenty of Spielberg’s influence.
Godzilla vs. Kong is a fun-filled entertaining action-monster schlock of a film. The effects work is well done and the story is good enough with the human elements thankfully taking a backseat to the two monsters.
The Tender Trap debuts on Blu-ray courtesy of the Warner Archive Collection receiving a new video restoration and stars Frank Sinatra, Debbie Reynolds, David Wayne and Celeste Holm and is out May 25th.
Indiana Jones: 4-Movie Collection is a great and near-perfect set that includes excellent video and audio transfers now in 4K and Atmos tracks for each film.
The Snoopy Collection is a good selection of four films featuring the feisty beagle and best friend, Woodstock, and any fan would love to have this, especially with two making their feature film debuts.
Flashback is a movie that might be too trippy for its own good. There are some interesting ideas and the acting from Dylan O’Brien and Maika Monroe were both pretty good, but it can be difficult to follow.
Shoplifters of the World is a music-comedy-drama starring Helena Howard, Ellar Coltraine, Nick Krause and Joe Manganiello and features the music of The Smiths, a band I’m familiar with but never grew up listening to.
Each Dawn I Die debuts on Blu-ray courtesy of the Warner Archive Collection receiving a new video restoration and stars James Cagney and George Raft and was released April 20th.
Tom & Jerry: The Movie is the big screen debut for the duo. The human cast includes Chloe Grace Moretz, Michael Pena, Colin Jost, Rob Delaney and Ken Jeong.

Body Slam is a comedy starring Dirk Benedict, Tanya Roberts, Roddy Piper, Captain Lou Albano and Barry Gordon. This oddball film from 1986 is being released on Blu-ray by Kino Lorber on June 15th.
The Vault is an entertaining heist-thriller that might not reach the levels of an Ocean’s Eleven but still worth checking out.
The Allnighter isn’t exactly a quintessential movie from the 1980s, probably not even second tier either, and while it’s pretty safe but it’s light-hearted entertainment.
