PLOT SYNOPSIS

After stopping at the scene of a gruesome accident on a remote highway, a couple (JACOB SCIPIO, LOU LLOBELL) soon realizes they didn’t leave alone. A demonic presence known as the Passenger has hitched a ride, turning their road-trip adventure into a nightmare they can’t escape.

SPECIAL FEATURES – 3½/5

This release comes with a slip cover and inside is a redemption code for the Digital HD copy. Unfortunately there were no bonus features.

VIDEO – 5/5

Passenger arrives on Blu-ray and is presented here in its original 2.39 widescreen aspect ratio and a 1080p high-definition transfer. As this is a dark looking film with a fair chunk taking place at night or dimly lit areas, the black levels here were respectable as it never came across crushed while colors are on the more muted side.

AUDIO – 4¾/5

The disc includes a robust Dolby Atmos track offering up clear dialogue from the center channel and decent enough depth through the front and rear speakers. This is nothing I’d consider terribly in-depth yet still impressive enough.
