VIDEO – 4½/5, AUDIO – 4¼/5

Shout Factory releases Kindred onto Blu-ray presented with a 2.39 widescreen aspect ratio and for the most part looks good, detail is sharp throughout while colors are tamped down in keeping with the darker tone of the story.

The disc includes a standard DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 which is serviceable, dialogue comes across with clarity and there is some decent depth. Nothing amazing but still more than satisfactory for a movie that is filled with plenty of quiet moments or dialogue.
