PLOT SYNOPSIS |

SPECIAL FEATURES – 2.0/5 |
Review |
VIDEO – 3.5/5 |
Screen Media releases Grand Isle onto Blu-ray presented with a 2.20 widescreen aspect ratio and for the most part it looks fine, but definitely a bit washed out but I think that was a stylistic choice with a somewhat the modern southern gothic tone the filmmakers were going for. Otherwise, detail was alright and no major flaws that I noticed. |
AUDIO – 4.5/5 |
The movie does included a strong DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track and although most of the movie is dialogue, with some screaming thrown in for good measure, there is some good depth especially noticeable during the rain storm scenes. |
