Inferno is a cheesy but fun suspense yarn from the 1950s utilizing fantastic 3D technology and, at least what I’ve received, the first 3D title released by Twilight Time which offers a solid video and audio transfers but a bit limited in the features department.

SPECIAL FEATURES – 2.0/5 |
Along with the usual 8-page booklet is an Audio Commentary with Film Historian Alan K. Rode and Robert Ryan’s Daughter Lisa Ryan; A New Dimension of Noir: Filming Inferno in 3D (15:34; HD) featurette and the Original Theatrical Trailer (2:13; HD). |
VIDEO – 3.75/5, AUDIO – 3.5/5
|
Inferno comes to Blu-ray through Twilight Time and is presented with a full frame 1.33 aspect ratio and given a 1080p high-definition transfer. This is a bit mixed because detail isn’t bad, albeit not entirely sharp, and colors appear bright and vibrant, but there is heavy grain, which in itself is fine, but numerous instances of dust marks, scratches and specs permeate throughout. |
OVERALL – 3.0/5 |
Overall, Inferno is a cheesy but fun suspense yarn from the 1950s utilizing fantastic 3D technology and, at least what I’ve received, the first 3D title released by Twilight Time which offers a solid video and audio transfers but a bit limited in the features department. |
