AUDIO – 4.0/5 |
The disc includes a DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 Mono track which provides clear dialogue levels and some decent depth when the action picks up from wild west gunfire and the score from George Bassman. |
OVERALL – 3.5/5 |
Overall, this feature debut from Sam Peckinpah is a classic western featuring three fun performances by Randolph Scott, Joel McCrea and Mariette Hartley. The Blu-ray released by Warner Archives offers great video and audio transfers and at least does have features highlighted by an academic-like commentary track. |
