Strangers With Candy debuts on Blu-ray from Shout Factory and given a 1080p high-definition transfer taken from a new 4K transfer from the 35mm Interpositive. As it is, its certainly not a bad looking picture but really lacking incredibly clarity. Colors are decent enough but hardly vibrant. Still, the transfer is relatively clean free of dust or pixilation. The included DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track offers up clear dialogue and is perfectly adequate for a comedy like this. There’s not a whole lot of great depth or anything but the music and score does come though fairly well. |
