Boomerang debuts on Blu-ray presented with a 1080p high-definition transfer and shown in the original theatrical 1.85 widescreen aspect ratio. For the most part the picture here does look great with sharp detail and colors are bright and vibrant. Now there were some minor specs that permeated throughout but these were blips and small so won’t necessary be distracting. The movie comes with a strong DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 showcasing the great soundtrack featuring songs by Toni Braxton and Boyz to Men. Plus, dialogue comes across the center channel with good clarity and no apparent signs of pops, hissing or other flaws. |
