A cocky ad executive, Marcus (EDDIE MURPHY) has a reputation as a ladies’ man. However, Marcus gets a taste of his own medicine when a merger finds him working under the beautiful Jacqueline (ROBIN GIVENS), who has a similarly cavalier attitude about romance. Marcus and Jacqueline become involved, but he is put off by her noncommittal approach to their relationship. Meanwhile, Marcus also begins to develop feelings for the pretty Angela (HALLE BERRY), who is more thoughtful than Jacqueline.

Boomerang debuts on Blu-ray presented with a 1080p high-definition transfer and shown in the original theatrical 1.85 widescreen aspect ratio. For the most part the picture here does look great with sharp detail and colors are bright and vibrant. Now there were some minor specs that permeated throughout but these were blips and small so won’t necessary be distracting.

The movie comes with a strong DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 showcasing the great soundtrack featuring songs by Toni Braxton and Boyz to Men. Plus, dialogue comes across the center channel with good clarity and no apparent signs of pops, hissing or other flaws.
