PLOT SYNOPSIS

Two brothers (SHAWN ROBERTS, TYLER JOHNSTON) return to a small mountain town in search of their long lost parents only to discover that the place has a monstrous “taste for tourists.” Rumors of a Bigfoot creature at first seem silly, but soon the unthinkable becomes real and the town’s insidious past emerges.

SPECIAL FEATURES – 2½/5

Features include an Audio Commentary with Writer/Director Braden Croft and Associate Producer Travis Shewchuk, a Behind the Scenes featurette and the Theatrical Trailer.

VIDEO – 4/5

Feed the Gods comes to Blu-ray for what I believe is the first time, courtesy of MVD Entertainment Group and is presented with a 1080p high-definition transfer and its original 2.35 widescreen aspect ratio. For what I presume was a fairly limited budget, the picture here looks pretty good, detail is nicely defined and colors are well balanced.

AUDIO – 4/5

The disc includes a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track and it’s… fine. Dialogue comes across well enough through the center channel and there is some decent depth especially once the more horror elements kick into effect during the third act.
