PLOT SYNOPSIS |
M. Harry Smilac (DIRK BENEDICT) is a talent agent who’d sell his mother for a dollar… fifty cents after negotiations. But Harry finally hits the big time with a rhythm-and-bruise road show that combines rock music and professional wrestling. |
SPECIAL FEATURES – 1½/5 |
The only features is a new Interview (7:10) with Actor Barry Gordon and two Theatrical Trailers. |
VIDEO – 4/5 |
Given there’s no mention of a new transfer, I assume this one was provided to Kino Lorber by MGM. In any case, the 1080p high-definition picture looks pretty good for a mid-level comedy from 1986. Detail is fairly sharp and colors are nicely balanced and vibrant throughout. |
AUDIO – 4½/5 |
The disc comes with a Dolby TrueHD 5.0 track which was surprisingly strong, along with the crisp and clear dialogue coming via the center channel, once the matches begins, there is some nice, well rounded depth. |
Check out some more 1080p screen caps by going to page 2. Please note, these do contain spoilers.
