Under the Silver Lake DVD Review

Under the Silver Lake is certainly not for everybody and after a great outing with It Follows, this one just didn’t do it for me, rambling with no real direction for over two hours though at least Andrew Garfield wasn’t bad.

PLOT SYNOPSIS

Sam (ANDREW GARFIELD) is a disenchanted 33-year-old who discovers a mysterious woman, Sarah (RILEY KEOUGH), frolicking in his apartment’s swimming pool. When she vanishes, Sam embarks on a surreal quest across Los Angeles to decode the secret behind her disappearance, leading him into the murkiest depths of mystery, scandal, and conspiracy in the City of Angels.

This release comes with a 16×9 enhanced 2.40 anamorphic widescreen aspect ratio and includes a solid Dolby Digital 5.1 track which outputs crisp and clear dialogue which makes up a bulk portion of the running time.
