Accident was poorly conceived made worse thanks to stilted dialogue and some rather poor acting from the cast. The two leading ladies might be, ahem, nicely put together, and the director certainly gratuitously flaunts them but acting was not their strong suits.

Well Go USA provided me with a free copy of the Blu-ray I reviewed in this Blog Post.
The opinions I share are my own.

PLOT SYNOPSIS

When a foursome “borrows” a car for one night of fun, when starts as a wild joy ride turns into a nightmare. After a violent crash, they discover that being stuck at the bottom of a ravine in an overturned car is the least of their problems. The psychotic owner of the stolen car has them in his crosshairs and will stop at nothing to get both the car and its contents back.

SPECIAL FEATURES – 0.5/5

Well Go doesn’t always sent review screeners with the slip cover, so not sure if this one does or not, but it’s likely. The only feature is the trailer.

VIDEO – 3.75/5

Well Go USA releases Accident onto Blu-ray where it’s presented with a 2.38 widescreen aspect ratio and a 1080p high-definition transfer. The picture quality is decent enough, detail isn’t always the best and the poor visual effects don’t exactly look the best in HD, but all in all it’s okay. Colors are fairly vibrant at least during the daytime scenes looked fine but the bulk of the film takes place at night and in the rain, so colors are on the limited side.

AUDIO – 3.75/5

The disc includes a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track (and a Dolby Digital 2.0) which sounds adequate though does have limitations, such as the key “accident” scene, but dialogue does come through with good clarity as does ambient noises via the front and rear channels during the rain storm.

OVERALL – 1.5/5

Overall, Accident was poorly conceived made worse thanks to stilted dialogue and some rather poor acting from the cast. The two leading ladies might be, ahem, nicely put together, and the director certainly gratuitously flaunts them in one particular scene (adding in some cleavage to keep one’s attention), but acting was not their strong suits. As such, this survivor-thriller should be skipped.
