SPECIAL FEATURES – 0.5/5

This comes with an 8-page booklet. There are two Theatrical Trailers (HD) included.

VIDEO – 3.75/5, AUDIO – 3.5/5

Twilight Time releases Take a Girl Like You onto Blu-ray where it’s presented in its original 1.85 widescreen aspect ratio and given a fine looking, and relatively sharp, 1080p high-definition transfer. Colors are on the more tapped down side but likely how it originally appeared in theaters while black levels seem fairly stark while the picture itself did have some natural film grain.

The included DTS-HD Master Audio 1.0 track was basic yet still satisfactory showcasing crisp and clear dialogue levels.

OVERALL – 2.5/5

Overall, Take a Girl Like You is a fun little 1970s romantic-comedy romp propelled by the charismatic performances by Hayley Mills and Oliver Reed. The Blu-ray release from Twilight Time isn’t a great release with only two trailers while the video and audio transfers were at least decent enough.
