The Crooked Man is by no means great but as SyFy movies go, isn’t terrible however some of the performances were a bit questionable, though the young Angelique Rivera wasn’t bad.

PLOT SYNOPSIS

The Crooked Man (DMITRIOUS BISTREVSKY) is a demonic spirit that has become an Internet phenomenon. Six years ago, five girls at a sleepover conjured him by reciting his ghoulish rhyme. One of the girls was murdered and another, Olivia, was sent away for the crime. Present day, Olivia (ANGELIQUE RIVERA) suspects the Crooked Man has returned to kill off everyone who was there that night. Can she find a way to stop him before she becomes the next victim?

SPECIAL FEATURES – 1.0/5

The only features included are the Trailer and Still Gallery.

VIDEO – 3.0/5, AUDIO – 3.25/5

Lionsgate unleashes The Crooked Man on DVD presented in its originally televised 1.78 anamorphic widescreen aspect ratio and a Dolby Digital 5.1 track (and a 2.0 option) which isn’t anything noteworthy but serviceable enough.

OVERALL – 2.5/5

Overall, The Crooked Man is by no means great but as SyFy movies go, isn’t terrible however some of the performances were a bit questionable, though the young Angelique Rivera wasn’t bad. This DVD released by Lionsgate is rather basic with okay video/audio transfers and minimal amount of features.
