The Perfect House is a tad better than expected especially compared to some of the other crap from WER. The acting, although hardly faultless, isn’t entirely bad and the plot, at least some of it anyway, is at least interesting. Not sure if I can completely recommend this but perhaps horror junkies might get something out of it.

VIDEO – 3.25/5 | AUDIO – 2.75/5

As a low budget film, The Perfect House actually doesn’t look half-bad though it is an incredibly dark movie, made that way by the filmmakers as evidenced by the alternate ending which was not color corrected. Still, artifacting and pixilation aren’t overly bad.

The audio is pretty standard with the Dolby Digital 2.0 track which is alright though at times it does top out and dialogue could have more depth, but for what it is, it’s adequate enough I suppose.

OVERALL – 2.25/5

Overall, The Perfect House is a tad better than expected especially compared to some of the other crap from WER. The acting, although hardly faultless, isn’t entirely bad and the plot, at least some of it anyway, is at least interesting. Not sure if I can completely recommend this but perhaps horror junkies might get something out of it.
