However, features-wise, we only get an <strong><u>Audio Commentary<\/u><\/strong> with actress Shirley Jones and Film Historian Nick Redman and the <strong><u>Theatrical Trailer (2:32; HD)<\/u><\/strong>. The picture quality is well done with decent colors, albeit some scenes are a bit drab versus others, while detail levels are sharp and well defined. The transfer itself is clean, free of artifacts, dust marks and dirt. Skin tones also appear to be well balanced and move more towards the warmer side.<br \/>\n<a name=\"audio\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"*\" src=\"http:\/\/www.moviemansguide.com\/images\/main\/bar_blue.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"3\" \/><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>AUDIO \u2013 4.0\/5<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track is good though nothing outstanding. The bulk of the track, including the musical numbers, is relegated to the center channel with some ambient noises used for the front, especially, and rear speakers. Still, even though it\u2019s not the most dynamic lossless track, it\u2019s still well done with no discernible pops or crackles.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"*\" src=\"http:\/\/www.moviemansguide.com\/images\/main\/bar_blue.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"3\" \/><br \/>\n<a name=\"overall\"><\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/i.imgur.com\/2bqNw2i.png\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"border-screencapture aligncenter\" title=\"April Love\" src=\"http:\/\/i.imgur.com\/2bqNw2i.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>OVERALL \u2013 3.5\/5<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Overall, <strong><em>April Love<\/em><\/strong> on some levels is a product of its time though with movies like <em>Endless Love<\/em> and any number of Nicholas Sparks\u2019 adaptations, you take out the musical moments the story is more or less similar from the romantic and melodramatic scenes.
