THE MOVIE<\/strong>

Bud \u201cSquirrel\u201d Macintosh (PAULY SHORE) and Doyle \u201cStubs\u201d Johnson (STEPHEN BALDWIN) are the central characters in the ultimate slacker comedy Bio-Dome<\/em><\/strong>. Mistaking an experimental site for a mall, Squirrel and Stubs enter in hopes of finding a bathroom and instead find themselves the unwitting participants in a biological research project and the antagonistic fouls of the by-the-book lead scientist Dr. Faulkner (WILLIAM ATHERTON).<\/p>\n

Bio-Dome<\/em><\/strong> stumbles onto Blu-ray presented with a 1080p high-definition transfer and in its original 1.85 widescreen aspect ratio. The picture itself isn\u2019t anything extraordinary but does have good detail, colors appear to be well balanced and outside of a few instances of dirt and heavy grain, meaning this was not a restoration job (not so surprising), it\u2019s a fine looking transfer.

AUDIO \u2013 2.5\/5<\/strong><\/h2>\n

I can\u2019t say the same for the audio. The movie does come with a DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 track which is, to say the least, uneven. The opening credits blare out of the two channels to the point where it was unbearable yet once the film began, things do even out where dialogue is presentable though other elements, like the sounds of the fountains to the side, were utterly flat. It\u2019s not a dynamic track at all and its depth is severely lacking.<\/p>\n
