That said, the acting wasn\u2019t half bad and I can\u2019t complain seeing more work from the venerable Titus Welliver in a supporting role. The Blu-ray released by XLrator Media is very basic with good audio\/video transfers but the bonus material is almost non-existent save for the trailer.<\/p>\n

A young detective, Jeter (BEAU MIRCHOFF), becomes an unwilling participant in a sadistic game of cat-and-mouse when he is kidnapped by a masked serial killer. In order to survive, Jeter must use the wisdom imparted to him by senior detectives on their regular poker night.<\/p>\n

Presented with a 2.35 widescreen aspect ratio and a 1080p high-definition transfer, Poker Night<\/em><\/strong> looks pretty darn good. Colors are a bit muted since a good portion takes place either at night or in darkly lit rooms but those shots are stark and show no signs of artifacts or other imperfections and detail levels on the whole are sharp and well defined.

AUDIO \u2013 3.75\/5<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The accompanied 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio track is suitable for the movie but limited. Dialogue levels weren\u2019t bad though I did notice it topped out a few times however I think that\u2019s more to the flaws in the production than the quality of the transfer work. Still, the score comes through well enough while rear speakers were mostly used for ambient noises.<\/p>\n
