Shout Factory, visa vi their Scream Factory line, releases Exterminators of the Year 3000<\/em><\/strong> shown with a 1.85 widescreen aspect ratio and a 1080p high-definition transfer. It should be noted this was a low budget affair and, from what I could see online, it looked absolutely horrible so it\u2019s not surprising that this one might not look fantastic. For instance, detail levels is limited where some close-ups look OK but more distant shots are fuzzy. Noise is fairly heavy and it does have an all around splotchy texture. Colors meanwhile are tame and toned down though it is in keeping with the apocalyptic setting.

AUDIO \u2013 4.0\/5<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The DTS-HD Master Audio Mono track, on the other hand, sounds better. Dialogue generally is clear and the more action-centric scenes do come through fairly well. The lossless track doesn\u2019t have any noticeable hissing or other ailments though as with the video, it is limited.<\/p>\n
