PLOT SUMMARY<\/strong><\/h2>\n

High school student Rob (JOHN KARNA) has the most important day of his life in front of him: a college interview with a Georgetown rep (ALAN TUDYK), an opportunity to lose his virginity to the hottest girl (CARLSON YOUNG) in school, and plans with his friends (KATIE FINDLEY, CRAIG ROBERTS) to celebrate. Unfortunately everything goes terribly wrong, and to add to his troubles Rob finds himself waking up in the morning to repeat the same miserable day over and over and over again. While trying to figure out what\u2019s causing him to be stuck in this time loop, Rob\u2019s repeated daily routine starts to become more absurd and risqu\u00e9. But with the help of his friends, Rob just may find out what he needs to change about himself to finally be able to move on with his life.<\/p>\n

MPI Media Group releases Premature<\/em><\/strong> with a decent 2.40 anamorphic widescreen image. The picture isn\u2019t anything incredible but shows off good colors with minimal artifacting or aliasing.<\/p>\n

The Dolby Digital 5.1 track shows off clear dialogue levels and the comedic score from Nick Urata (Crazy, Stupid, Love<\/em>). As with the video, it\u2019s nothing great but passable.

The cast, which outside of Alan Tudyk and Katie Findlay (\u201cThe Killing,\u201d \u201cHow to Get Away with Murder\u201d) is mostly unknown, all work well with one another while the script has some funny, if not \u201cAmerican Pie\u201d-inspired, humor. The DVD released by MPI offers good video\/audio transfers a fair amount of bonus material to peruse.<\/p>\n
