As the cult&#8217;s connections to corporate oligarchs begin to emerge, the lives of Cal and those around him\u2014particularly his vulnerable young son (HARLEY CROSS)\u2014are put at terrible risk.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"*\" src=\"http:\/\/www.moviemansguide.com\/images\/main\/bar_blue.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"3\" \/><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>SPECIAL FEATURES \u2013 0.5\/5<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Not much here save for the usual 6-page essay booklet, a <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Theatrical Trailer (1:51; SD)<\/strong><\/span> and the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Isolated Score Track<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"*\" src=\"http:\/\/www.moviemansguide.com\/images\/main\/bar_blue.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"3\" \/><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>VIDEO \u2013 4.5\/5<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong><em>The Believers<\/em><\/strong> casts a spell on Blu-ray presented in its original 1.85 widescreen aspect ratio and a 1080p high-definition transfer. In a word, this is a fairly great looking transfer with rich colors throughout, good and stark dark levels and detail is well defined. This is probably one of the better transfers to come through Twilight Time.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"*\" src=\"http:\/\/www.moviemansguide.com\/images\/main\/bar_blue.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"3\" \/><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>AUDIO \u2013 4.25\/5<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The DTS-HD Master Audio Stereo track is also relatively impressive showing clear dialogue levels and some good depth for the more supernatural scenes to go along with the score which gives a fuller feel for the lossless track.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"*\" src=\"http:\/\/www.moviemansguide.com\/images\/main\/bar_blue.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"3\" \/><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>OVERALL \u2013 2.5\/5<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Overall, <strong><em>The Believers<\/em><\/strong> isn\u2019t a bad supernatural thriller though it does kind of fall apart towards the third act to the point of near absurdity, but even so, might be worth a watch if only for some half-decent performances from Martin Sheen and Robert Loggia.
