It\u2019s a fun featurette where Lester, now older obviously, recounting how he got the role and working on the film.<\/p>\n<p><b><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Meeting Fagin (13:21; HD)<\/span><\/b> is a similar featurette this time with Ron Moody.<\/p>\n<p><b><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Sing-Alongs (HD)<\/span><\/b> offers the viewers to sing to some of the key songs: \u2018Food Glorious Food\u2019, \u2018Consider Yourself\u2019, \u2018Pick a Pocket or Two\u2019, \u2018I\u2019d Do Anything\u2019, \u2018Be Back Soon\u2019, \u2018Who Will Buy?\u2019, \u2018Reviewing the Situation\u2019 and \u2018Oom-Pah-Pah\u2019.<\/p>\n<p><b><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Dance Instructions (HD)<\/span><\/b> shows how to do the dances for \u2018Be Back Soon\u2019, \u2018Food Glorious Food\u2019 and \u2018I\u2019d Do Anything\u2019.<\/p>\n<p><b><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Dance &amp; Sing-Alongs (HD)<\/span><\/b> puts both elements together. And no, I did not attempt this, the universe could not handle it because I\u2019m so damn good&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><b><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Original Theatrical Trailer (1:41; HD)<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"*\" src=\"http:\/\/www.moviemansguide.com\/images\/main\/bar_blue.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"3\" \/><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>VIDEO \u2013 4.5\/5<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Thanks to Twilight Time, <b><i>Oliver<\/i><\/b> arrives on Blu-ray with a pretty spectacularly looking 1080p high-definition transfer. Presented in its original 2.35 widescreen aspect ratio, the film has excellent clarity throughout with great detail levels, a healthy amount of grain as intended and no signs of DNR or a scrubbing which a certain other studio is known for (at least animated titles). The color array is also nice though the film itself goes more toward earth-tones so it\u2019s not something that exactly has pop to it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"*\" src=\"http:\/\/www.moviemansguide.com\/images\/main\/bar_blue.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"3\" \/><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>AUDIO \u2013 4.25\/5<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>On a similar front, the movie has also been upgraded to a strong 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio track. While dialogue levels are crisp and clear, this lossless track especially comes to life through the musical numbers and sounds really good. The bulk of other elements, ambient noises and such, nicely fill out the other channels. It\u2019s not an outstanding track, but it\u2019s still quite good.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"*\" src=\"http:\/\/www.moviemansguide.com\/images\/main\/bar_blue.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"3\" \/><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>OVERALL \u2013 4.0\/5<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Overall, a wonderful musical, <b><i>Oliver<\/i><\/b> debuts on Blu-ray courtesy of Twilight Time and it has never looked or sounded better with amazing transfers on both accounts.
