The transfer isn\u2019t anything amazing showing off some splotchy elements thanks to the contrast of darker scenes with the fluorescents popular back in the late 80s and early 90s. Still, detail levels aren\u2019t bad and because of those colors, they come across nice and bright. I wouldn\u2019t say it\u2019s the best transfer I\u2019ve seen from the era, but it\u2019s not terrible either.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"*\" src=\"http:\/\/www.moviemansguide.com\/images\/main\/bar_blue.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"3\" \/><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>AUDIO \u2013 3.75\/5<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>In similar fashion, the DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track offers some good lossless audio with clear dialogue levels making use of the center channel while ambient noises as well as Figgis\u2019 score are effectively relegated to the other channels. It might not be anything brilliant, but it\u2019s better than expected all things considered.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"*\" src=\"http:\/\/www.moviemansguide.com\/images\/main\/bar_blue.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"3\" \/><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>OVERALL \u2013 2.25\/5<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Overall, <b><i>Internal Affairs<\/i><\/b> is a bit of a forgotten crime-drama overshadowed a few years later by <i>Heat<\/i> and even only 3 years earlier with <i>The Untouchables<\/i>. Even so, Richard Gere turns in an incredible performance and playing opposite, Andy Garcia is also top notch.
