From the onsought this comes across as a cheap HD transfer from a flawed master. There are various amounts of artifacting at times, the detail level is OK at best and the color array is merely average and doesn\u2019t exactly pop off the screen. Comparing it to my original DVD, it is a modest upgrade but not much more than that.<br \/>\n<a name=\"audio\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"*\" src=\"http:\/\/www.moviemansguide.com\/images\/main\/bar_blue.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"3\" \/><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>AUDIO \u2013 3.5\/5<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The DTS-HD Master Audio Stereo track is suitable especially for a comedy, though it doesn\u2019t exactly have the \u201cwow\u201d factor going for it. Dialogue sounds good, though and the track does pick up through James Newton Howard\u2019s whimsical score.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"*\" src=\"http:\/\/www.moviemansguide.com\/images\/main\/bar_blue.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"3\" \/><br \/>\n<a name=\"overall\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>OVERALL \u2013 2.5\/5<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Overall, <strong><em>Dave<\/em><\/strong> is a nice movie filled with fine performances from Kevin Kline and Sigourney Weaver. Sure, it\u2019s predictable and more than outlandish in its premise (bit of a stretch that he looks <em>exactly<\/em> like the President), but it\u2019s one I\u2019ve had fun watching throughout the years. The Blu-ray is on the disappointing side with average audio\/video transfers and a sparse amount of features.
