Plot Outline: <\/strong>Harvard law professor Paul Armstrong (SEAN CONNERY) reopens a murder investigation, against a man named Bobby Earl (BLAIR UNDERWOOD), based on an allegation that a confession was coerced by a maverick lawman (LAURENCE FISHBURNE). On the surface, it seems a straight-ahead case of the prisoner\u2019s guilt or innocence. But nothing really lies on the surface.<\/p>\n

Just Cause<\/em><\/strong> arrives on Blu-ray presented in its original 2.40 widescreen aspect ratio and while the 1080p high-def transfer is nice and certainly better than the DVD version, it\u2019s not exactly an awe-inspiring picture. The black levels do look nice and detail levels are at least decent, though at times it can be on the soft side, especially background objects.

AUDIO \u2013 3.75\/5<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio track also isn\u2019t anything amazing but given the movie is primarily dialogue-driven, it at least gets the job done. The majority of the action takes place via the center channel but for the few more action-oriented scenes, the front and rear channels do kick on though it\u2019s minimal.<\/p>\n

The Blu-ray unfortunately doesn\u2019t have much to offer. There are no features and the video\/audio transfers are fine but hardly amazing.<\/p>\n
