                                      The West Wing<\/em><\/strong> makes its debut on Blu-ray where its presented with a 1.33 full frame aspect ratio and 1.78 for the later seasons. Like most of these shows from the early aughts do have a bit of softness as these were shot on tape whereas usually shows shot digitally can be on the sharper side. Even so, detail here was more than adequate while colors are well balanced if not a darker palette being a serious drama. There were no obvious signs of artifacting or aliasing.<\/p>\n

                                      Each episode comes with a DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 track and for a show that is, to say the least, dialogue heavy, it is more than sufficient as levels are clear and there is some modest depth when it came to the music and ambient noises.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
