Finding himself surprisingly at home in Southern Italy, he discovers his new friends are under the control of a local crime boss (ANDREA SCARDUZIO). As events turn deadly, McCall knows that has to do: become his friends\u2019 protector by taking on the mafia.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/images4.imagebam.com\/36\/1d\/b2\/MEQNN1Y_o.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"border-screencapture aligncenter\" title=\"The Equalizer 3\" src=\"https:\/\/images4.imagebam.com\/36\/1d\/b2\/MEQNN1Y_o.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"366\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Quick Hit Review: <\/strong><em>The Equalizer<\/em> franchise has been a lot of fun and although I honestly can\u2019t remember a whole lot for the sequel, I have watched the first film a few times over the years and still holds up really well including a well done finale and a truly menacing villain. This third entry, released five years after the last, takes McCall overseas and in the beautiful setting in Italy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">While there is a couple interesting shots from director Antoine Fuqua, this one didn\u2019t have quite the same punch as its predecessors, at least in the action arena. However, Denzel Washington for his part is just as charming and engaging as he always is, and it was a lot of fun seeing Dakota Fanning in a nice <em>Man on Fire<\/em> reunion, even if her role as a CIA agent and that whole thing really had little bearing and could\u2019ve been excised with no noticeable difference.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/images4.imagebam.com\/27\/67\/fa\/MEQNN2R_o.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"border-screencapture aligncenter\" title=\"The Equalizer 3\" src=\"https:\/\/images4.imagebam.com\/27\/67\/fa\/MEQNN2R_o.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"366\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">All in all, <strong><em>The Equalizer 3<\/em><\/strong> is just a solid action-thriller propelled almost entirely on Denzel Washington\u2019s great charisma and alongside a serviceable enough story, although the villain this go around pales in comparison to what Marton Csokas in the first film. Still, this is well worth watching and when comparing to a movie like <em>John Wick: Chapter 4<\/em>, it\u2019s at least concise and a more reasonable running time.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"*\" src=\"http:\/\/www.moviemansguide.com\/images\/main\/bar_blue.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"3\" \/><\/p>\n<table id=\"review-content\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>SPECIAL FEATURES \u2013 3\u00bd\/5<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td id=\"review-content2\">This release, a Wal-Mart exclusive, comes housed in Steelbook packaging and comes with a <strong>Digital HD<\/strong> copy redemption code.
