Ann Walton (MALA POWERS) is a young bookkeeper freshly engaged to her boyfriend, Jim Owens (ROBERT CLARKE). But her promising life unravels completely when, on her way home from work one evening, she is raped. Kino Lorber releases Outrage<\/em><\/strong> onto Blu-ray where it\u2019s presented in the original 1.37 full frame aspect ratio and given a new 1080p high-definition transfer provided by Paramount from a 4K scan of the 35mm Fine Grain. While not a perfect transfer as there were plenty of noticeable, although not distracting, dust marks, scratches and some film damage, for the most part this picture still looks quite good with relatively sharp detail throughout. The black and white elements show nice contrast as well with the former being stark but not crushed and whites not appearing have blown out.<\/p>\n

The disc comes with the standard DTS-HD Master Audio Stereo track and although there were instances when the soundtrack tops out, for the most part this sounds fairly good outputting clear dialogue and some okay depth for a film like this and of its age.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
