Paranormal Activity 2 <\/em><\/strong>(2010)<\/strong> \u2013 Just as Daniel and Kristi welcome a newborn baby into their home, a demonic presence beings terrorizing them, tearing apart their perfect world and turning it into an inescapable nightmare. Security cameras capture the torment, making every minute horrifyingly real.<\/p>\n

Paranormal Activity 3<\/em><\/strong> (2011)<\/strong> \u2013 The cameras are on and recording the chilling moments when evil begins to terrorize young sisters Katie and Kristi for the first time.<\/p>\n

Now, with their young daughter’s soul in danger, they must fight back against this demonic threat before becoming its next victims.<\/p>\n

Paranormal Activity: Next of Kin<\/em><\/strong> (2021)<\/strong> \u2013 Margot is a documentary filmmaker looking to meet her long-lost mother and extended family in a secluded Amish community. She and her film crew soon realize the family that welcomes them into their home might be hiding a sinister secret.<\/p>\n

Quick Hit Review: <\/strong>I\u2019ve mentioned before in past reviews, but when it comes to the \u2018found footage\u2019 style of filmmaking, I\u2019m not a fan as I find most of them to be tedious and anything but scary and worse, it\u2019s just uninteresting. And that\u2019s the case with the Paranormal Activity<\/em><\/strong> franchise which not a single one really captured my attention and I generally find downright dull with paper-thin characters whose well-beings I couldn\u2019t care less about.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

                Given none of these movies got a making-of featurette or interviews, this set includes Unknown Dimension: The Story of Paranormal Activity<\/em> ()<\/u><\/strong> is a feature-length documentary has cast and crew interviews, discussing the franchise\u2019s surprising box office success and the reigniting the found footage subgenre. For better or worse, as much as I don\u2019t really care for any of these movies, no denying it does have a fan base.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

                All seven movies are presented with a 16×9 enhanced widescreen aspect ratio and given 1080p high-definition transfers. Most of these movies come with a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track (the first film was TrueHD 5.1) and these are adequate I suppose, some depth is on display once the entity makes crashing noises in the homes.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
