Meet the charming, flamboyant Doctor Death (JOHN CONSIDINE), a 1,000-year-old man who has mastered the art of \u201cselective reincarnation,\u201d promising to keep one\u2019s soul alive forever. The catch? He needs a fresh body to host it for you, and finding willing volunteers impossible. When Fred\u2019s (BARRY COE) beloved wife dies, he refuses to believe she is gone forever. Dr. Death\u2019s loyal assistant, Tana (FLORENCE MARLY), offers a supernatural solution to return his wife to him…only to run into trouble when Dr. Death can\u2019t find a suitable body for her to reside in. This release comes with a matted slip cover<\/strong>. Features aren\u2019t especially abundant, but there is an Audio Commentary<\/u><\/strong> with Actor John Considine; Interviews<\/u><\/strong> with Considine and Steve Saeta, son of the director Eddie Saeta; an Introduction<\/u><\/strong> and the Trailer<\/u><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Doctor Death<\/em><\/strong> comes to Blu-ray from Scorpion Releasing and according to the back cover, is an HD master from the Original Camera Negative which was done back in 2015. As it is, this 1080p picture looks decent enough with okay detail on close-ups and colors appear well balanced. On the other side of things, there are specs and scratches here and there so not especially clean while black levels were well balanced.<\/p>\n

The disc includes a DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 track which does feature good dialogue levels and fine depth for an older feature and stereo track, however there is a consistent hissing and noise that permeates a good portion of the film which could be a bit annoying but you can still discern anything being said.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
