Hotaru Tachibana (MIKAKO KOMATSU\/MONICA RIAL) has a strong sense of justice, a tendency to take matters personally, and a snappy masculine sense of style that makes many mistake her for a boy. So, when Hotaru believes that her new neighbor has taken advantage of a classmate and barges into his club, the inevitable gender confusion finds her being challenged to an air pellet gun duel\u2026 that an overconfident Hotaru soundly loses! However, unaware that “he” is, in fact, she, owner Masamune (TOMOAKI MAENO\/COREY HARTZOG) uses a hefty bill for damages to coerce the naturally talented Hotaru into joining his incomplete airsoft team. Sentai Filmworks releases Aohru x Machinegun: Complete Collection<\/em><\/strong> onto Blu-ray and is presented with a 16×9 enhanced 1.78 widescreen aspect ratio and given a 1080p high-definition transfer. Colors are decent albeit not overly vibrant and there weren\u2019t any terribly apparent banding or other visual flaws.<\/p>\n

Each episode comes with an English or Japanese DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 track, the former being the default option so purists out there will want to change it. In any case, dialogue comes across with good clarity and there is okay depth for the more action-centric scenes and sequences.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
