Paramount releases Star Trek: Picard<\/em><\/strong> onto Blu-ray and is presented with a 2.00 widescreen aspect ratio as originally streamed on Paramount+. Detail on this was okay but nothing especially sharp while colors are well balanced if not on the darker side of the spectrum. There\u2019s not a whole lot of texture to this 1080p HD transfer so not the prettiest video though probably comparable to other TV home releases.<\/p>\n

Every episode comes with a standard but well balanced DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track. With these, dialogue comes across with good clarity and when the action does eventually pick up, the depth is on display; front and rear speakers come to life providing some respectable depth.
