Plot Synopsis: <\/strong>Finley Hart (ANTHONY HOPKINS) is the eccentric genius behind a global data-mining program. Upon his death, five remote agents — including his son (CHRIS BROCHU) — are contacted by a mysterious AI entity to reactivate the initiative, which may enable time travel. As sinister events occur at each of the agents’ homes, they must decide whether entering their passwords will save the world or destroy it.<\/p>\n

Quick Hit Review: <\/strong>Really dull and aimless \u201cthriller\u201d where scenes are either shot via smart phones or over Zoom. None of the main actors are in the same place as planned by director Rich Dugdale, shot in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic and while on paper that might be fine, but in practice you get a movie that is absolutely and utterly boring to the point I was already tuning out within the first 10-15 minutes of a surprisingly long 96-minute running time. The only known actor here is Anthony Hopkins who looked like somebody maybe not entirely sure what he\u2019s filming.<\/p>\n

This is a very short review but Zero Contact<\/em><\/strong> has absolutely no redeeming value outside serving as a sleeping aid.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Zero Contact<\/em><\/strong> I guess looks good as a movie shot via Zoom or a smart phone possibly could. Presented with a 1.78 widescreen aspect ratio and a 1080p high-definition transfer. Zero Contact<\/em><\/strong> at least looks adequate enough, detail is decent enough while colors are well balanced.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

The included DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track is sufficient for a movie like this which is 99% filled with dialogue and the other spots filled with some very generic music and score. This does not get the benefit from sound design as it seems the cast filmed their scenes on their own or with the aid of a friend or family member when it\u2019s not via a smart phone or computer camera (such as the opening scene with Hopkins playing the piano).<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
