While en route to prison, a bus carrying criminals Marion (LAURENCE FISHBURNE), Beck (JOHN LEGUIZAMO) and Anna (AISHA HINDS) is rerouted to Detroit’s soon-to-be-closed Precinct 13 because of a dangerous winter storm. All communications with the outside world are cut off, and Jake (ETHAN HAWKE), an emotionally volatile police sergeant who is haunted by his past, is forced to work with the criminals in order to survive an attack on the precinct by a group of armed men.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Mill Creek Entertainment release Assault on Precinct 13<\/em><\/strong> onto Blu-ray, presented in the original theatrical 2.40 widescreen aspect ratio and a 1080p high-definition transfer. Not sure how this compares to the original Blu-ray but without doing one, I would say this transfer looks fairly good and sharp throughout while colors are more on the damper side, geared more to darker tones and is even a bit oversaturated which I believe how it was shot. There might be some minor specs but otherwise this is a clean transfer.<\/p>\n

The disc includes a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track. Dialogue comes across with good clarity and when the action picks up, the depth is on display with the LFE channel kicking on for some rumbling on the floor but not overly obnoxious or overbearing. There was no apparent signs of pops, hisses or other aural issues so it\u2019s a fine lossless track.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
