While on a two day leave in New York City, soldier Joe Allen (ROBERT WALKER) meets secretary Alice Mayberry (JUDY GARLAND) when she trips over him. They hit it off, and Alice decides to show Joe around. As they tour the sights of New York, they begin to fall in love. After inadvertently meeting a milk deliveryman (JAMES GLEASON), they befriend him and help him finish his route. Warner Bros. releases The Clock<\/em><\/strong> onto Blu-ray for the first time, presented in the original 1.37 aspect ratio and given a new 1080p high-definition transfer which was taken from a 2022 Master from 4k scan of best Surviving protection elements. This one looks absolutely amazing; detail is sharp on both the close-up and some of the more distant shots. The balance between the blacks and whites is well done and the natural film grain\/noise is still evident giving the picture some nice texture.<\/p>\n

The movie comes with the normal DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 Mono track which outputs wonderfully clear dialogue levels throughout and great depth even being a singular channel track, with the soundscapes of New York City or Grand Central Station. There was no evident pops, hisses or other aural flaws.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
