After each killing, the murderer telephones the local radio station and recites a clue about the evil things he is doing to each girl. This includes the numerous slasher flicks that came out of the early 1980s with the successes of <em>Halloween<\/em> and <em>Friday the 13th<\/em>. Personally I\u2019ve come across a few titles like <em>New Year\u2019s Evil<\/em>, and the latest is <strong><em>Girls Nite Out<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This is a film that, even though it\u2019s only 97-minutes long, I had a really difficult time paying attention with the first 40-minutes filled with set-up for characters and their dynamics with one another that I couldn\u2019t care less about. The 1080p high-definition transfer was taken from a 2K resolution scan from a variety of 35mm prints as some of them were in different conditions, in addition there were \u201cvery brief sections\u201d that were sourced from an SD tape master, then digitally restored. As such, and mentioned at the opening of the movie, there were some obvious signs of picture wear, and this is the best presentation of the movie as possible.
