In the Nazi-occupied Norwegian village of Trollness, citizens are preparing to resist their invaders. As British forces sneak a cache of weapons into the woods near the village, town doctor Martin Stensgard (WALTER HUSTON) ; his beautiful young daughter, Karen (ANN SHERIDAN) ; and her fisherman fianc\u00e9, Gunnar (ERROL FLYNN), lead the resistance. Warner Bros. releases Edge of Darkness<\/em><\/strong> onto Blu-ray presented with a full frame 1.37 aspect ratio and a 1080p high-definition transfer which was taken from the \u201cbest preservation elements\u201d (per the press release). The picture here looks quite good, not great by the Archive Collection standards anyway, but still well done. Detail is still relatively sharp and the black and white arrangement has a nice balance to it with the natural film grain still present.<\/p>\n

The movie comes with a DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 Mono track. While there was some minor hissing or noise, generally this was a decent lossless track with dialogue and score coming across with clarity.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
