When Pat Morrison (BURT REYNOLDS) learns of a cache of gold hidden in the Philippines during World War II, he recruits the team of veterans who buried the treasure to lead him to the site. But the unreliable crew \u2014 including a disenchanted alcoholic (CLARKE GORDON) and a bitter seaman (LYLE BETTGER) \u2014 test Morrison\u2019s patience. Complicating the mission is Morrison\u2019s attraction to two women (ANNE FRANCIS, MIKO MAYAMA), who each of haves of their own.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Impasse<\/em><\/strong> comes to Blu-ray and given a new 1080p high-definition transfer taken from the 2K master and for the most part the video here looks fairly good with sharp detail and colors appear to be well balanced throughout. Now on the downside, this isn\u2019t exactly a clean looking picture as I did noticed many instances of scratches and dust marks so it doesn\u2019t look like this underwent even a superficial restoration job.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

The disc comes with a standard DTS-HD Master Audio Stereo track which was fairly effective though I did detect some minor hissing or white noise during some of the quieter scenes. Still, there were no obvious signs of hissing or pops.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
