Outlaws come and go in Nick and Nora\u2019s (WILLIAM POWELL, MYRNA LOY) lives. Now it\u2019s time to meet the in-laws. The debonair sleuths leave little Nicky Jr. at boarding school, grab Asta and head to Nick\u2019s boyhood home of Sycamore Springs. Of course, wherever they go, murder has a way of showing up on the doorstep. Nick can show off his gumshoe talents for his parents (HARRY DAVENPORT, LUCILE WATSON) when an artist is killed. And he\u2019ll do it without customary liquid inspirations… because Nick is on the wagon. He\u2019s also on his game. As is Nora, wrestling a folding lawn chair, tailing a presumed suspect through town, igniting a pool-hall rumble and cracking wise as good as she gets.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

The Thin Man Goes Home<\/em><\/strong> arrives on Blu-ray through the Warner Archive Collection and is presented with a 1.37 full frame aspect ratio and a new 1080p high-definition transfer. The black and white picture looks great as I come to expect from Warner\u2019s catalog Blu-rays. Detail on this is sharp and well defined throughout and the black levels are stark without seeming crushed. There was also no apparent signs of artifacts, aliasing, dust marks or scratches making for a very clean video.<\/p>\n

The disc comes with a DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 Mono track which is standard for these Warner Archive releases but still well done providing for clear dialogue levels and some decent depth from the center channel with no obvious pops or hissing.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
