An ambitious New York socialite plans an extravagant dinner party as her businessman husband, Oliver (LIONEL BARRYMORE), contends with financial woes, causing a lot of tension between the couple. Dinner at Eight<\/em><\/strong> debuts on Blu-ray courtesy of Warner Bros. Archive Collection and is presented in the original 1.37 full frame aspect ratio and a 1080p high-definition transfer. This black and white presentation looks incredible as I would expect from an Archive Collection release, detail is sharp and the picture itself is stable with flickering or shaking. The transfer is also clean, free of any noticeable artifacting, aliasing or other flaws, making this nearly 80 year old film dang near perfect.<\/p>\n

The disc comes with a satisfactory DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 Mono track outputting clear dialogue and some decent depth for a singular track and showing only a minor amount of hissing in an otherwise clean lossless track.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
