After five years as a slave, warrior Kull (KEVIN SORBO) travels to the shores of the fantastical kingdom of Valusia, where he slays mad King Borna (TERRY O\u2019NEILL). Inheriting the crown, Kull begins an ambitious program of bringing freedom and tolerance to Valusia, which displeases Gen. Taligaro (THOMAS IAN GRIFFITH) and the royal court’s advisers. Determined to unseat Kull, Taligaro has a wizard resurrect the witch Akivasha (TIA CARRERE) to seduce and destroy the new monarch.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Kull the Conqueror<\/em><\/strong> comes to Blu-ray through Mill Creek Entertainment and presented in the original 2.35 widescreen and a 1080p high-definition transfer. Although not terribly impressive, the detail on the picture at least was decent enough and skin tones do appear well balanced as do the black levels. Without doing a comparison, I\u2019d imagine this is a moderate step up from the DVD.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

The disc comes with a standard yet effective enough DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track. It\u2019s not an especially strong lossless track but there is some okay depth during some of the fight scenes while dialogue comes across with fine clarity primarily through the center channel.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
