Plot Synopsis: <\/strong>What begins as a simple visit to a grave site soon escalates into a night of sheer terror. In this dark, animated retelling of the 1968 cult classic Night of the Living Dead<\/em>, bloodthirsty zombies suddenly begin amassing everywhere. As Barbara, Ben and an odd group of strangers hide in a remote farmhouse, their struggle to ward off the flesh-eaters outside creates fierce tension inside.<\/p>\n

Quick Hit Review: <\/strong>This will perhaps be the quickest of my quick hit review. Pointless. Just watch the original for crying out loud. Okay, a bit more. The animation is shoddy while content wise only adds one scene that really doesn\u2019t offer much to the characters or story on the whole. The voice acting at least wasn\u2019t too bad but this is one to absolutely avoid.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Warner Bros. releases Night of the Animated Dead<\/em><\/strong> onto Blu-ray presented with a 1.78 widescreen aspect ratio and given a 1080p high-definition transfer. The picture for the most part looks fine as animated features go, colors are fairly well balanced and appears clean. Nothing incredible but on par with any of these direct-to-video animated movies.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

The disc includes a standard DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track which provides clear dialogue primarily out of the center channel and there is some decent depth with ambient noises (mainly the grunting of the undead) alongside the generic score that makes use of the front and rear speakers. The LFE channel meanwhile gets minimal usage however does click on a few times.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
