PLOT SYNOPSIS<\/span><\/h3>\n

Howard Kemp (JAMES STEWART) has been tracking killer Ben Vandergroat (ROBERT RYAN) for a long time. In the Colorado Rockies, he teams up with prospector Jesse Tate (MILLARD MITCHELL) and former Union soldier Roy Anderson (RALPH MEEKER). Thinking Kemp is a sheriff, they agree to help for a small fee. When they catch Vandergroat, he tells them Kemp is pursuing a $5,000 bounty. After demanding equal shares, the uneasy alliance heads for Kansas as Vandergroat tries to turn them against each other.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Warner Bros. releases The Naked Spur<\/em><\/strong> onto Blu-ray via their Archive Collection and is shown in the original 1.37 full frame aspect ratio and has been given a new 1080p high-definition transfer. Outside of maybe a couple of specs, this picture looks quite good, detail is relatively sharp, especially on the close-up shots, and colors are vivid without appearing artificially boosted or overly saturated.<\/p>\n

The disc comes with a more than adequate DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 Mono track. There is some minor hissing here and there, especially noticeable during the quieter scenes; however dialogue does come across with nice clarity. There is some okay depth, as mono tracks go, for the score and ambient noises.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
