A year after the explosive events of last season, England finds itself embroiled in a devastating civil war with the powerful neofascist Raven Union, led by Lord Harwood (JASON FLEMYNG), which threatens to control the entire country. North London remains one of the few remaining resistance holdouts. It\u2019s here, in the West End Neutral Zone, that we find Alfred Pennyworth (JACK BANNON). His years in the British Army training with the SAS have taught him to be a cynical optimist \u2013 expecting the worst, but knowing that he can handle it. Now running The Delaney, a black-market Soho club that welcomes everyone regardless of their politics, Alfred \u2013 with his SAS mates \u201cBazza\u201d (HAINSLEY LLOYD BENNETT) and \u201cDave Boy\u201d (RYAN FLETCHER) \u2013 is now in search of a way out… before London, and his country, burns itself to the ground. Pennyworth<\/em><\/strong> comes to Blu-ray from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment and pretty much is in-line with most of their TV titles like for Titans<\/em> or Doom Patrol<\/em>, meaning the picture, which is shown with a 2.00 aspect ratio, is mostly clean and detail relatively sharp for the close-ups. This is a dark looking show so you\u2019re not going to get incredible bouts of color but dark levels are stark without appearing crushed. (copied from season 1 review)<\/p>\n

Each episode comes accompanied with a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track. There\u2019s a fair bit of everything here from many quieter, more dialogue-driven scenes, to some more action\/suspense elements which does output of the front and rear channels.
