He is quickly met with an audience who are not yet ready for him. But during the tumultuous journey, Bowie slowly begins to realize a need to reinvent himself in order to truly become himself… and it’s within that realization that his iconic, celestial alter-ego Ziggy Stardust is born.

SPECIAL FEATURES – ½/5

This release comes with a matted slip cover. Detail is well defined and colors seem to be in keeping with the 1970s time period.

The disc comes with both a 5.1 and 2.0 DTS-HD Master Audio track. Nothing fantastic about either, but dialogue is crisp and clean coming through the center speaker and the music score makes up the front and rear channels, just a shame none of it was Bowie’s actual music.

Stardust is a biopic on David Bowie’s early career starring Johnny Flynn and Jena Malone.
