Successful theater agent Charlie Reader (FRANK SINATRA) lives a playboy’s life in New York City. When his childhood friend, Joe McCall (DAVID WAYNE), shows up with a desire to leave his wife, the two are awestruck by each other’s lifestyle. While Charlie is busy with his newest girlfriend, marriage-obsessed actress Julie Gillis (DEBBIE REYNOLDS), Joe falls in with Sylvia (CELESTE HOLM), a rebuffed former flame of Charlie’s, and the two friends must make different but equally important decisions.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

The Tender Trap<\/em><\/strong> comes to Blu-ray via the Warner Archive Collection and is shown in its original 2.55 widescreen aspect ratio and has been given a new 1080p high-definition transfer. No real surprise at this point, but the picture here looks fantastic, detail is incredibly sharp throughout for both close-ups and the more distant shots, colors are vibrant and well balanced, and there were no significant bouts of aliasing, artifacts, specs or other major flaws making this a clean transfer.<\/p>\n

The movie comes with a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track that offers up clear dialogue levels, primarily through the center channel with the most depth and usage of the front and rear speakers being relegated for the music and score.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
