This massive collection (weighing in at just over 3 lbs) of 55-discs are spread across 3 extra-wide keep cases (3 seasons per case). All of the features from the original DVDs are included and in all likelihood the discs themselves are the same. The discs are stacked on one another in spindles (kind of) so getting from one to another (say disc 1 to disc 5 or something, is a little bit of a hassle), however given the size of this, it is the best solution.<\/p>\n

                                      All nine seasons of CSI: NY<\/em><\/strong> is presented with a 16×9 enhanced 1.78 widescreen aspect ratio and for the most part looks good. The earlier seasons are a tad rougher compared with the later ones, the first season especially is dark with a blue tint before adding more colors in following seasons. Every episode comes with a Dolby Digital 5.1 track and as with the picture; these become a bit better as time goes on with clear dialogue and some okay depth for the music\/score and any of the suspense-centric sequences.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

                                      Overall, CSI: NY<\/em><\/strong> was probably my second favorite of the three shows in the franchise, though CSI: Miami<\/em> has some amazingly good-bad moments whereas this is pretty straight forward, and I do love Gary Sinise in the lead alongside a nice supporting cast. This mega-sized Complete Series set from Paramount has a good selection of bonus materials and for anyone who does not own the individual season sets, it\u2019s a decent enough of a deal.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
