After her husband dies from a heart attack in the midst of an affair, Sue Buttons (ALLISON JENNEY), an underappreciated suburban wife, gets a taste of local celebrity after she buries him and then embarks on a search to find him. She quickly finds herself in over her head, dodging cops (REGINA HALL), criminals (AWKAFINA, CLIFTON COLLINS JR.) and local reporters all aiming to uncover the truth. Warner Bros. releases Breaking News in Yuba County<\/em><\/strong> onto Blu-ray, presented with a 2.38 widescreen aspect ratio and a 1080p high-definition transfer. While hardly outstanding, with detail being modestly sharp, overall the picture looks above average though not quite on par with most new releases. However, given the more comedic tone, colors are bright and there\u2019s no noticeable artifacting or other flaws.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

The disc comes with an adequate DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track which is serviceable for the kind of movie this is, where the majority of the audio is made up of dialogue and some okay depth when it came to Jeff Beal\u2019s mundane score.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
